My Approach

My approach is integrative, and influenced by psychodynamic and humanistic theories. I often work with people who have experienced adverse childhood experiences and find themselves struggling with their present. Together, we work to make sense of the past, and to identify themes or repeating patterns, and work to find ways to diffuse the ways they may find themselves stuck or limited. I work relationally, aiming to tailor my approach to meet the unique needs of every client

About Me

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I am interesting in working with people facing addiction - whether it be from alcohol, substances, shopping, or social media.
Anxiety is a symptom many of us experience as a normal response to living. Sometimes anxiety can become stifling . I help clients find a sense of groundedness, helping them to become more compassionate and accepting of tthemselves, whilst identifying what may lie beneath their anxiety.
All of us will experience loss and bereavement in our lives. I help people come to to terms with enormous grief, and find meaning, and ways to manage.
Depression is a normal emotion all of us will face from time to time. I help people work through difficulties, the darks days of depression, making sense of thier feelings, and experiences, to pave a way for living without a constant struggle.
I have an interest in working with people facing the pain of infertility, to help them come to terms with what it means for them.
