I aim to work openly and inclusively with a collaborative stance. My approach is shaped by contemporary psychoanalytic and humanistic perspectives, with a critical perspective on all standard approaches to psychotherapy. This is understood as an expression of my integrative stance when working with people who find themselves struggling and suffering.
As an integrative psychotherapist I bring over 20 years of experience working in private practice, primary and secondary care settings, as well as charities and the NHS. I am aware and sensitive to the realities of oppression and exclusion, and I aim for an anti-oppressive practice. Before working as a psychotherapist, I gained significant experience in the creative profession and philosophy.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
