I hold a bio-psycho-social outlook in my work, which means we can explore the difficulties you are experiencing in the context of your life, relationships, body, personal history and wider social world. Together, we may also look at patterns, early experiences and relationship dynamics that feel relevant to what is happening for you now.
I use an integrative approach, which may include talking, creative expression, and working with myths and symbols, depending on what feels useful. I draw on trauma-informed perspectives, including mindfulness and somatic awareness, where helpful.
I am an attachment-based psychoanalytic psychotherapist and art psychotherapist, with a background in mindfulness and yoga teaching. I offer a reflective, creative and supportive space for clients to explore their emotional, embodied and psychological experiences. Through this process, clients can develop greater self-understanding, feel more energised in themselves, and feel more connected with others and the wider world.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
