My Approach

Whether you’re working through relationship issues, parenting concerns, or the complexities of separation and divorce, I provide a safe, compassionate space where everyone’s voice is heard, especially the voices of children, whose needs I hold at the heart of the process.

Every family faces challenges, and therapy can offer a path through. I bring a gentle, collaborative approach to help you reconnect and move forward. When you feel ready, I’m here to support you and your family with empathy, skill, and understanding.

About Me

With over 20 years of experience as a UKCP registered Systemic Psychotherapist and Relational Life Therapy (RLT) Therapist, I offer care, understanding, and practical support to children, couples, and families. Whether navigating divorce, parenting challenges, relationship tension, or communication breakdowns, I work to ensure all voices are heard and valued. I help couples explore relationship dynamics, whether in crisis or seeking improvement, and support families in fostering healthier connections.

I work with

  • Children and young people
  • Couples
  • Families

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Couples often find themselves stuck in repeated arguments, feeling misunderstood, or unsure of how to reconnect. I work with couples to get beneath the surface of conflict and uncover the dynamics that drive it. Together, we explore how each partner’s experiences, values, and emotional needs shape the relationship. My role is to guide you toward greater clarity, empathy, and practical ways to restore trust, intimacy, and mutual respect.
Families can experience periods of stress, disconnection, or conflict, sometimes sparked by life changes, parenting challenges, or long-standing tensions. I offer a supportive space where families can begin to understand one another more deeply and develop more effective ways of communicating. My approach helps identify patterns that may be causing strain and supports the family in creating new ways of relating that feel more balanced and respectful for everyone involved.
Parenting can be both deeply rewarding and incredibly challenging. Whether you're facing behavioural concerns, co-parenting tensions, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I provide a calm, non-judgmental space to explore your parenting journey. I help parents reflect on what’s working, where support is needed, and how to respond more effectively to their child’s needs, while also attending to their own wellbeing. My approach is collaborative, supportive, and grounded in real-life experience.
Relationships; whether romantic, familial, or social, can be deeply fulfilling, but they can also become sources of stress and confusion. I help individuals and groups reflect on the relational patterns that influence their lives. Whether you're struggling with boundaries, communication, or emotional closeness, therapy can offer insight and tools to build stronger, more authentic connections with others.
Separation and divorce can be emotionally complex and impact everyone involved, especially when children are part of the picture. I offer a supportive, structured space to help individuals, couples, or families navigate the emotional and practical challenges that come with ending a relationship. Together, we can work through difficult feelings, support clearer communication, and help everyone adjust to new family dynamics with compassion and care.
