As an Integrative Psychotherapist, I believe our early life experiences shape who we become, often influencing the ways we relate to others. Over time, we may develop familiar coping strategies that feel safe but can also keep us stuck in unhelpful patterns. Therapy offers a space to reflect on these patterns and explore new ways of being that support personal growth and healthier relationships.
Sessions are typically one hour long and take place weekly or fortnightly. You would lead the direction of our work together, focusing on the issues most important to you. While I may offer reflections or suggest possible strategies, I won’t give direct advice or tell you what to do. My aim is to step into your world with you, working collaboratively as you move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.
I work with a wide range of issues, always focusing on the individual rather than labels, and taking a non-pathologising approach to therapy. As a neurodivergent therapist myself, I have completed additional training in ADHD and autism, and I particularly enjoy supporting neurodivergent clients in understanding and embracing their unique ways of being. I also have experience working with Boarding School Syndrome and the lasting impact it can have on relationships, identity, and emotional wellbeing.
I tailor my approach to each individual, drawing on different therapeutic models to meet your unique needs. I also place great value on the healing potential of a warm, respectful, and supportive therapeutic relationship. With understanding, empathy, and gentle challenge, I believe meaningful change is possible.
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist with a deep commitment to offering a warm, compassionate, and non-judgemental space for people to explore their inner worlds. I work in a way that is relational, permission-giving, and grounded in authenticity, believing that true healing happens when we feel truly seen and accepted as we are.
As someone with lived experience of ADHD, I bring both professional understanding and personal insight to my work. I know what it means to navigate life with a neurodivergent mind, and I value difference, curiosity, and the courage it takes to begin therapy.
My integrative approach means I draw from a range of therapeutic models, tailoring the work to suit your unique needs and experiences. I believe that the relationship we build together is at the heart of the therapeutic process, and I strive to meet each person with empathy, honesty, and respect.
Outside of my work, I find joy in life’s simple pleasures-swimming, yoga, reading, and noticing the small, often overlooked moments that bring peace and connection.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
