My therapeutic approach is grounded in the belief that everyone has the capacity for healing, growth, and change. I provide a safe, collaborative, and non-judgemental space where people can explore their experiences, relationships, emotions, and identity at their own pace. I tailor my work to each individual and family, drawing on both traditional and contemporary therapeutic approaches to meet their unique needs.
I have extensive experience working across social care, community services, and specialist mental health settings, supporting people with a wide range of difficulties, including trauma, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, relationship challenges, identity concerns, and the impact of intergenerational experiences. Central to my work is an understanding of how our early relationships shape our sense of self and the way we connect with others.
As someone who is proud of my Kurdish heritage, I bring a strong awareness of culture, belonging, diversity, and difference into my practice. I strive to create an inclusive therapeutic environment that honours each person's unique story and lived experience.
Alongside talking therapy, I may incorporate creative and expressive approaches, including art and action-based methods, to help clients gain deeper insight, process emotions, and discover new perspectives. Above all, I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship, where you feel heard, understood, and valued, is at the heart of meaningful and lasting change.

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
