About Me

My professional background is in general nursing, midwifery, and health visiting. I qualified as an integrative counsellor in 1987, and a systemic psychotherapist/family therapist in 2003.

I have experience of working across the age range and with families, couples, individuals, children and young people at times when they have felt vulnerable or in great distress. My work over the years has been within the NHS, educational and voluntary service settings, and private practice.

I offer an assessment session before you decide whether you/your family/child want to continue seeing me for a longer-term piece of work. We will negotiate how often you would like to meet and the length of the session. I will review progress with you at regular intervals so that you feel that the work is progressing and is helpful.

Appointments are available during the day/evening.
