My Approach

My Approach is empathic, relational, intuitive, and uniquely tailored to each individual, combining traditional psychotherapeutic knowledge with somatic and transpersonal practices.

I work with adults, young people and children navigating anxiety, grief, identity, sexuality, spiritual inquiry, intercultural dynamics, and the quiet yet profound ache of loneliness. Those seeking alignment with their true self—beyond the masks of old patterns, expectations, and inherited roles.

Drawing from a blend of therapeutic modalities—attachment theory, psychodynamic, person-centred, transpersonal, and Internal Family Systems (IFS)—our work together is relational and interactive.

I also incorporate mindfulness, visualisation, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT/tapping) to support the release of stored trauma and the reintegration of disowned parts of the self.

In this space, we can explore the behaviours, beliefs, and emotional imprints that may no longer serve you—approaching them with curiosity and compassion rather than judgment. Together, we create the conditions for insight, healing, and self-liberation.

Specialist Integrative Psychotherapy for Young People:

Childhood and adolescence are times of incredible growth, sensitivity, and inner change. For many young people, this can also come with overwhelming emotions, confusion, isolation, or behavioural challenges.

Children often express their inner lives not through words, but through play, creativity, movement, and relational signals. In our sessions, I use a combination of creative tools, symbolic play, storytelling, and visual art to help your child connect to and express what might otherwise feel too big or too confusing to say aloud.

Whether working with younger children or teenagers, my approach is attuned, relational, and creative. I meet each young person where they are, helping them build trust, emotional language, and resilience from the inside out.

About Me

My name in Eva,
I am a Child and Adolescent psychotherapist, working with adults also. I am located in London, both in Angel (Islington) and Surrey as well as online.
I work relationally, creatively and developmentally, my intention is to support the understanding of the entire self, and learn how to welcome even the most painful parts within us, with understanding and acceptance.
I also work with groups, supporting them to connect with each other; using radical responsibility, presence and acceptance. This way of working enables relationships to deepen, and brings agency and resilience to the individual.
With children, and with adults, wonder, magic and learning how to play are key aspects within the healing journey. Creativity, such as the sand tray, painting and empty chair work bring some distance to the pain and allow us to communicate with the pain as external, as when it's all inside it can feel overwhelming.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I feel our society is so driven by a specific lens of what is "able". That the natural support necessary, from the bombarding stimulation and high expectations especially put on children, is seen as an "issue" or an extra measure. I have worked with many people with ASD/ ADHD and ADD.
Health issues, can often be secondary trauma, burnout, compulsive caregiving. This can be due to underlying worth issues, or internalised anger. We can bottle up our emotional experience for years, and later it appears in the form of chronic pain and many more illnesses.
Often times, the last call for help is fragmentation, lack of cohesion and shutting down or loosing a grip on reality. to swim alongside with acceptance and reverence to the minds ability to do a multitude of things to survive, is humbling.
While the therapeutic relationship with the child is central, I also work closely with parents and caregivers. Family dynamics, intergenerational patterns, and parenting stress can all be part of what your child is holding, and our work can help create more ease, understanding, and harmony across the whole system. In supporting your child, I hold a deep respect for their inner wisdom and a belief in their innate capacity to grow, adapt, and heal. I also work with individuals having relational issues such as prolonged disagreements/ fear / breakups/ divorce.
In today's society often times we get to a stage where everything seems meaningless, and the answers to questions we used to feel comforted by no longer fit. Sometimes it is helpful to explore issues that span beyond the ego-personality, posing questions to the heart and feeling connected deeper to your innate knowing.
