My approach is gentle, reflective, and grounded in curiosity about what lies beneath the surface of our everyday lives. Together we can begin to explore how past experiences shape the ways you think, feel, and relate to others, often in subtle but powerful ways.
Before becoming a psychotherapist, I spent many years in demanding professional environments, so I understand how pressure, anxiety, and self-doubt can accumulate over time. I also draw on an understanding of early development to help clients see how old emotional patterns may still be shaping their adult relationships.
You may be feeling stuck in familiar patterns, repeating the same situations, thoughts, or relationships, without quite knowing why. Or perhaps something has shifted recently, leaving you feeling unsteady or unsure of yourself. These experiences can be confusing and lonely, and reaching out for therapy can feel daunting.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
