My Approach

When life feels challenging or overwhelming, it can be hard to figure things out alone, especially when old ways of coping stop working.
Difficult or traumatic experiences can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves and our own judgment.

Central to my practice is the belief that you carry the internal resources needed for lasting and meaningful change and gather the strength that you need and rediscover your innate capacity to navigate life's challenges, no matter how painful or shameful they may feel.

My approach centres on listening with deep empathy, building a collaborative, trusting relationship where meaningful change can happen. Respecting your unique experience and pace, without labels or generic advice, providing a space to be truly heard and understood, where nothing you bring is too big or too small.

What I particularly like about the person-centred approach is its resistance to pathologisation. My practice integrates anti-racist, decolonial, and non-pathologising frameworks to prioritise client autonomy.

I have worked with community counselling services across London, with experience working with LGBTQ+ and neurodiverse clients.

Alongside my private practice, I attend regular clinical supervision and ongoing professional development as part of ethical practice.
I follow the Code of Ethics and Professional Practice as a registered clinical member of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).

My qualifications are:

. MSc and a Clinical Diploma in Contemporary Person-Centred Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute.
. BSc in Psychology from Manchester Metropolitan University.
