My Approach

I work in an integrative and flexible way, blending approaches to suit your needs. Some sessions focus on understanding past experiences, while others look at current challenges and practical ways to cope. I work with individuals and relationships of all kinds — romantic couples, siblings, parents/adult children — supporting all parties equally to improve communication, understanding, and connection.

My sessions are collaborative and client-focused, providing space to explore emotions, behaviours, and relationship patterns at your own pace. I believe finding the right fit with a therapist is important this is why I offer a free 15-minute consultation to discuss your needs and how therapy can work for you. You do not to have it all figured out reach out and I will be here to listen and support in next steps.

About Me

I’m Erin, a UKCP‑registered integrative psychotherapist and counsellor, working with adults, couples, and multi‑person relationships in Godalming and online. I support people through anxiety, depression, overwhelming emotions, trauma, and life transitions, including fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore what’s bringing you to therapy. I pay attention to patterns from the past that continue to impact your present and work with warmth and authenticity. I have a particular interest in supporting neurodivergent clients and adapting therapy to meet individual needs.

Alongside my private practice, I work with individuals and couples and have a special interest in women’s mental health, particularly supporting people through fertility, pregnancy, postpartum, and parenthood journeys.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I work with people with ADHD to explore how it shapes the way they think, feel, and experience the world. In a supportive space, we focus on understanding your patterns, strengths, and challenges, helping you make sense of yourself and find ways to navigate life with greater clarity, confidence, and balance.
I work with people experiencing anxiety, including persistent worry, panic, or stress that feels overwhelming or hard to manage. In a safe and supportive space, we explore the patterns and triggers of anxiety, understand how it affects your mind and body, and develop strategies to help you feel more grounded, calm, and in control of your life.
I support couples who are struggling with connection, communication, or recurring conflicts. In a safe and supportive space, we explore patterns and emotions together, helping each partner feel heard and understood. The goal is to strengthen understanding, rebuild communication, and get to a relationship all parties feel more fulfilled in.
I work with people experiencing challenges in their relationships, whether with partners, family, friends, or themselves. My approach is relational and reflective, helping you explore patterns, communication, and emotional dynamics in a safe, supportive space. Together, we focus on understanding how past experiences influence current relationships and work towards healthier connections and greater self-awareness.
I work with people who have experienced trauma in different forms, including childhood and relational trauma, single events, or ongoing experiences that have felt overwhelming. My approach is trauma-informed and gently paced, with an emphasis on safety, collaboration, and understanding how trauma can affect both emotional and physical wellbeing. Together, we work to reduce the impact of past experiences and support a greater sense of stability, connection, and choice.
