My Approach

I am a relational integrative practitioner drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches to adapt our work to your individual needs. My work is rooted in a deep interest in the ways relationships shape and transform our lives. I believe that our early relational experiences play a significant role in how we view ourselves and navigate the world. Through the therapeutic relationship, we can explore these patterns together, create meaning, and support positive change.

About Me

I have experience working across a range of mental health settings, including private practice, charities, and the NHS. I have supported adults and young people facing a wide variety of challenges such as depression, anxiety, eating disorders, self-harm, domestic abuse, sexual trauma, relationship difficulties, identity concerns, stress, grief, and addiction. My therapeutic approach draws on psychodynamic, humanistic, and CBT models, and I am also trained in CBT-E for working specifically with eating disorders. In my work, I pay particular attention to relational dynamics, recognising the important role relationships play in both difficulties and healing.

Starting therapy can feel like a big and sometimes overwhelming step. I understand that it’s not always easy to talk about painful experiences or the things that may be weighing on you. My hope is to offer a warm, safe, and supportive space where you feel comfortable to begin exploring what’s been troubling you, at your own pace.

I have recently completed all the taught and practical elements of my Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy, with just my thesis and viva left to complete.

As a member of BPS and UKCP, I work within their ethical framework. I am also professionally supervised by a UKCP registered supervisor.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Alongside my private practice, I have experience working in an NHS eating disorders service, supporting people who are finding their relationship with food and their bodies difficult. I take an integrative approach to therapy, drawing on a range of models to suit each person’s needs, and have also completed training in CBT-E, a specialist approach for working with eating disorders.
I have experience working in private practice, charities, and NHS services, supporting adults and young people with a wide range of difficulties, including anxiety, depression, self-harm, emotionally unstable personality disorder (EUPD), eating disorders, neurodivergence, and addiction.
I believe that relationships are at the core of our human experience. Through our connections with others, we come to understand ourselves, make sense of the world, and shape how we relate to both. Because of this, our relationships can also play a big role in the challenges and distress we face. This understanding guides how I approach therapy — I see the therapeutic relationship as a key part of the healing process, offering a safe space where you can begin to explore, make sense of, and work through the difficulties that brought you to therapy.
I believe that our sense of sexuality can be a deeply personal and important part of who we are. It can shape how we see ourselves, how we connect with others, and how we experience the world around us. At times, questions or difficulties around sexuality can feel confusing, isolating, or distressing. In therapy, I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace, helping you to make sense of what you’re feeling and find greater understanding, acceptance, and confidence in yourself.
