Deciding to seek therapy can feel like a daunting experience for many people. You may have experienced something painful in life and feel clear about your current concerns, or you may feel lost, stuck or misunderstood but don’t understand why. You may not know how you feel or what your difficulties are but have a general sense that something doesn’t feel right. I can meet you where you are and help you to make sense of your difficulties. Together we will try to understand what feels painful and explore what is meaningful to you so that you can engage with life more fully.
I am a (UKCP) Integrative Psychotherapist and hold full clinical membership. I am also in the final stages of a Doctorate programme training as a Counselling Psychologist. I have experience of working with a range of emotional and psychological difficulties within the NHS, universities, and community health settings.
I work from a relational, integrative perspective, which means I am trained in a range of different modalities including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, existential, and humanistic approaches. Therapy will look different for each person, as our work will depend on your own unique circumstances and individual needs.
I am based in Bristol but also offer therapy online.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
