My Approach

Hello! I’m El, a UKCP registered psychotherapist.
I offer a welcoming and confidential space for you to explore whatever is happening in your life and support you to face difficult circumstances, challenges and transitions. Sessions are tailor-made to suit your personal circumstances.

Together we will use a mixture of techniques that can include talking and paying attention to the body. You will have the chance to gain new understanding and awareness by working with your dreams, body and world experiences, relationships and the impact of your social context.

Working through difficult experiences, can be a deeply healing journey, which allows us to become more ourselves and find life more satisfying. I work collaboratively to find out what best supports you to develop inner and outer resources- so that you can then work through difficulties and flourish in your life.

About Me

I have a diploma in Processwork. In private practice I offer long and short term therapy; both in person (Cardiff) and online; to adults: individuals and people in relationships.

I use a modality called Processwork, that includes paying attention to things that disturb us and finding out how these experiences hold important information.

As a white, middle class, queer person, I am actively working to make my practice inclusive of our differences and similarities including race, age, religion, sexuality, class, ableism and gender.
