MY APPROACH
My primary aim is to create a warm and welcoming environment where you feel comfortable and truly supported on your journey. I believe that each person is unique, and I work in a flexible and creative manner tailored to individual needs. Drawing from a rich tapestry of theoretical models as well as in psychodrama, I offer a variety of techniques to explore your feelings and experiences. Whether through conversation, narrative, art therapy, or engaging in action methods and somatic work, my goal is to help you connect with your inner self and find healing. Together, we’ll embark on a meaningful exploration of your story, allowing you to express yourself in a way that feels right for you.
ABOUT ME
My name is Donna and I am a trained, accredited and experienced Integrative, Humanistic Psychodrama Psychotherapist (UK, 2024). Psychodrama is a dynamic and powerful approach that opens up a wealth of creative possibilities for working with individuals and groups. It invites participants to engage deeply with their emotions and experiences, fostering meaningful connections and insights. Before training as a therapist, I worked as a teacher, lecturer and an applied theatre practitioner. I have had the privilege of working deeply with a diverse range of issues, including many years supporting individuals who have survived multiple traumas, such as violence and abuse. I also specialise in helping those experiencing depression, anxiety and relational trauma. My approach is compassionate and understanding, and I am here to provide a safe space where you can begin to heal and rediscover strengths and resources.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
