My training is in Relational Integrative Psychotherapy which promotes the inherent value of each and every human being.
'Integrative Psychotherapy' is both a fusion of different models of psychotherapy, and also the process of working with a client enabling them to integrate the many different aspects of their personality. It is the process of making whole. I work with clients in a powerful relationally-centred way using integration to promote understanding and self-acceptance in order that it becomes possible to face each moment openly and freshly without the protection of a pre-formed opinion, position, attitude, or expectation.
I offer a safe, confidential, professional and approachable service to explore important and sensitive issues.
I have been working as a Therapist since 2003 and work with people who bring many of life's challenges including:
Relationship issues, Anxiety, Depression, Bereavement, Loss of all kinds, Sexual, Emotional and Physical Abuse including Childhood
trauma and abuse. I help people recognise unconscious patterns of behaviour, often acquired in childhood and teenage years, which
are no longer working for them in adult life.
I have experience working for the NHS IAPT service, National Companies, local Council and Mental Health Trusts as well as in Private Practice where I offer Long Term Psychotherapy.
I am also a qualified UKCP Supervisor.
