About Me

I offer relational and systemic psychotherapy to children and young people, adults, couples and families and systemic consultation to private businesses and public sector organisations. I also provide systemic supervision and consultation to individual professionals and professional networks in the private and public sector.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

How to prevent a session from unraveling when partners do not believe one another How to teach partners to know when they are taking an important risk to be open/vulnerable How to encourage clients to safely chip away at each other's defences The power of recognizing love and hope expressed in a subtle way
A long work history in public sector mental health child and adolescent settings and providing one-to-one and/or group therapeutic interventions for depression in children, adolescents and adults
I trained in child and adult EMDR (*since 2012). I am committed to refreshing this training for 2023, for both my children and Adult client populations.
Many different families have used this service, for example: • Single parent families • Couples, including same sex couples • Children and parents, whether living together or separated • Step families • Families with grandparents • Families where all members are adults whatever their age • People with a learning or physical disability • People who live together in communities like residential homes or supported living etc.
I offer relational and systemic supervision to foundation and masters level FT trainees and systemic supervision and consultation to public and voluntary sector professionals.
