I take an integrative, transpersonal approach to psychotherapy, drawing from a range of evidence-based practices while adapting our work to your individual needs.
Sometimes our work may involve gently exploring patterns from the past and how they may still be shaping your present experiences — including challenges or resistances that you may find yourself returning to. At other times the focus may be on what is happening in your life right now and how you are meeting it.
We may also work with dreams or explore aspects of the self that have been pushed into the background — feelings, fears, or strengths that may not yet be fully recognised. As awareness grows, new ways of understanding yourself and relating to others can begin to emerge.
I aim to offer a thoughtful and supportive space where whatever you are bringing can be explored at a pace that feels safe and meaningful for you.
If something in this approach resonates with you, you are welcome to get in touch to arrange an initial conversation and see whether working together might feel supportive.
I am a Clinical Integrative Psychotherapist (BACP, UKCP) offering a reflective and supportive space where the challenges you are experiencing can be explored with care and curiosity. My work is grounded in integrative transpersonal psychotherapy, which recognises the psychological, emotional and spiritual dimensions of our experience.
I hold a Diploma and MA (Distinction) in Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapy from the CCPE (Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education). Throughout my training and clinical work I have learned to draw on a range of psychological approaches, including existential, relational and psychodynamic perspectives, while working within a transpersonal framework that honours the creative, soulful and meaning-making aspects of being human.
I have experience working with clients navigating a range of challenges including addictions, disordered eating, childhood trauma, single-event trauma, anxiety (including social anxiety) and depression.
Alongside my general practice, I have a particular interest in women’s psychological and spiritual development. My MA dissertation explored the psychospiritual significance of key developmental transitions such as menarche, the menstrual cycle, childbirth, mothering and menopause, and how these experiences can sometimes bring unresolved wounds or trauma to the surface while also offering opportunities for reflection, healing and growth.
Before training as a psychotherapist, I had a 25-year career as an Interior Designer and Project Coordinator, working nationally and internationally. I have lived in both London and Barcelona.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
