My practice is person centred and trauma informed. I use empathy, acceptance and compassionate curiosity to promote a motivational environment to explore difficult problems, improve wellbeing, build confidence, resolve conflict, and improve relationships.
I am a Senior Family and Systemic Psychotherapist at the Maudsley Hospital.
I have over 15 years experience working with families and individuals across specialist adoption and eating disorder services and private practice.
I offer systemic psychotherapy to individuals, couples and families.
In my current NHS role, I work with people of all ages with eating disorders. I am trained in MANTRA and FT-AN. I also supervise other clinicians to deliver FT-AN, and I have been involved in delivering national training in the MANTRA and FT-AN models.
I am also involved in research into treating eating disorders with SLaM NHS Trust and the IOP at King's College London. I have also contributed to the development of the PEACE Pathway to support people with both autism and eating disorders.
I offer clinical supervision to other professionals practising family therapy and deliver training in systemic practice to social workers.
My practice is based at a cosy clinic based in Blackheath. I can also see clients online.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
