My approach is a calm, collaborative one, creating a space for you to feel safe, to be really listened to and be yourself, so that we can explore in depth what is troubling or distressing you, and work together towards your desired outcomes. As an integrative therapist, I’m able to draw on many psychological ideas and perspectives, always placing the therapeutic relationship at the heart of our work together.
My background is varied and includes teaching, leadership development, and executive coaching working with individuals and groups. I have an MSc in Integrative Psychotherapy from Middlesex University and a Certificate in Integrative Supervision from the Centre for Supervision and Team Development. I have a small psychotherapy and supervision practice in south-west London.
I am a practice supervisor at Roehampton University where I work with groups of therapists-in-training, and with a colleague launched a series of groups for women recovering from trauma, in collaboration with a counselling service in West London.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
