My psychotherapeutic approach is person-centered and rooted in the belief that every individual has the capacity for growth and healing when provided with a supportive, empathetic environment. My clinical training includes a Diploma and an MSc in Contemporary Person-Centred Psychotherapy from The Metanoia Institute in London. My practice is LGBTQIA+ affirmative and I am committed to creating an inclusive and non-discriminatory space where all people may feel valued and understood. My practice is informed by the values of trans-inclusive, intersectional feminism and the understanding that therapy should acknowledge both the individual as well as their environment, relationships, community and histories.
I’ve worked in a range of counselling services, predominantly supporting women and in particular those who have received diagnoses of EUPD (previously BPD). I also have considerable experience working with individuals in the public eye as they manage a split identity, loneliness, lack of privacy and the demands of fame.
I am a person-centered psychotherapist with experience supporting individuals and couples from many different backgrounds as they navigate life’s challenges and explore who they are in the world.
My research interests include using arts-based and narrative research methods to explore how self-hood and relationships are affected when mediated by technology, as well as attitudes to touch and the body in psychotherapeutic traditions
Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I work as an artist and researcher. I am a parent and live with my family and a community of friends by the sea in Devon.
