My approach is warm, authentic, and relationship-led. I’m deeply interested in the connections we form with others, and in how the quality of those connections shapes our emotional wellbeing. I believe that nurturing meaningful, honest relationships — both with others and with ourselves — can be central to living a healthier, more fulfilling life. In our work together, I aim to create a safe and collaborative space where you feel seen, heard, and able to explore your experiences at your own pace.
My work is rooted in Psychosynthesis, a model of transpersonal psychology sometimes described as “soul work”. It recognises the spiritual dimension of human experience and seeks to integrate all aspects of the self — emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual. Through this integrative process, psychotherapy can help address painful histories, restore a sense of inner coherence, and support you in reconnecting with who you truly are and who you may yet become.
Psychosynthesis invites a gentle uncovering of one’s deeper potential. Much like light encouraging a bud to unfurl, the reflective and relational work of therapy can support meaningful and lasting transformation — allowing insight, self-acceptance, and growth to emerge in their own time.
I’m Claudia, a UKCP-accredited Psychotherapist with a Master’s degree in Psychosynthesis Psychology. Originally from Germany, I’ve been living in the UK for over twenty years and bring both professional and personal insight into what it means to navigate identity, belonging, and change across cultures.
I work with individuals and couples, offering a reflective and supportive space to explore what may feel stuck, overwhelming, or unclear. My approach is warm, relational, and integrative — grounded in the belief that psychotherapy can help deepen self-understanding, ease emotional distress, and foster a stronger sense of agency in one’s life. As awareness grows, so too does the capacity to relate differently to feelings that once felt limiting or overpowering.
I have particular experience supporting people with relationship and attachment difficulties, codependency, love addiction, burnout, and the experiences of highly sensitive people. Alongside individual therapy, I work with couples using Terry Real’s Relational Life Therapy framework, helping partners strengthen communication, repair disconnection, and build more conscious, resilient relationships.
I also have a special interest in working with expats and those in creative and high-pressure industries such as fashion, media, and music — contexts where identity, performance, and belonging often intersect in complex ways.
Whatever brings you to therapy, I aim to meet you with curiosity, respect, and care, supporting you in moving towards greater clarity, resilience, and connection.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
