Training, qualifications & experience
I am a qualified humanistic psychotherapist and a registered member of the UKCP. I hold an MSc with Distinction in Humanistic Psychotherapy. My clinical training is supported by an understanding of developmental neuroscience and how early experience shapes our emotional and relational patterns today.
Clinical Foundation:
St Charles Mental Health Crisis Assessment Service (MHCAS): Supporting individuals in acute distress within an NHS multidisciplinary team.
Central School of Speech and Drama: Serving as an in-house psychotherapist for students across high-pressure performance disciplines.
Metanoia & Headstrong Counselling Services: Working with a broad range of clinical presentations.
Psychotherapy in London for Creative & Professional Lives
I am a UKCP-registered psychotherapist based in Chelsea, Central London, offering psychotherapy for adults navigating anxiety, stress, shame, and relationship difficulties. I work with individuals from all backgrounds, and I have a particular specialism in creative, high-pressure, and professional environments. Many of the people I work with appear to be coping on the outside, while finding things more difficult internally.
You may be feeling anxious, stuck, or under pressure, finding that something in your life or relationships isn’t quite working. Sometimes this is easy to name; at other times it shows up more quietly, as overthinking, internal pressure, or a sense of disconnection. I offer a calm, non-judgmental space where you don’t have to "perform" or keep up appearances while carrying these weights alone.
You don’t have to be in crisis for therapy to be useful.
Who I Work With:
I work with people from a wide range of backgrounds, often those navigating pressure, responsibility, or a sense of being stuck.
This can include:
Creatives: Navigating the “all or nothing” nature of the arts.
Professionals: Managing high levels of responsibility and burnout.
Entrepreneurs: Dealing with the “always-on” brain and the weight of leadership
The Creative & Professional Perspective
Alongside my psychotherapy practice, I continue to hold senior roles within Film and Television, including at a BAFTA award-winning production company. This dual career gives me a current, lived understanding of the adrenaline-exhaustion cycle and the unique "shorthand" of high-stakes environments, allowing us to skip the explanation and get straight to the work.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
