We all experience times that feel overwhelming, sad or lonely. Times of transition, anxiety, grief or trauma. We can feel stuck in negative patterns and it can help to talk to someone separate from our daily lives whose experience can help us make sense of what is happening and start to move in the direction we want.
Therapy can also be a space to gain a better understanding of yourself and explore deeper issues which have been troubling you.
I am an integrative counsellor, drawing on a variety of therapeutic models to enable a flexible approach to match each individual client's needs. I hold a Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling from BCPC.
I work with younger clients (18 to 24) as well as with adults. This can be short term therapy or on a longer open ended basis, depending on your need.
I offer weekly or fortnightly 50 minute sessions, online, to anyone within the UK with an initial session to discuss and agree what you would like to get from our work, together.
I am an experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, and a fully accredited member of UKCP. I have worked in Universities, for the NHS and with Employee Assistance Programmes offering short term counselling to many university students and employees from all different cultures and backgrounds with a wide variety of issues and in all parts of the UK. Issues have included bereavement, anxiety, depression, stress, identity issues, abuse, relationship issues, low self- esteem, life changes, anger and illness. Additionally, I have a private practice offering short and longer term counselling.
I offer a safe and confidential space where you can reflect on the difficulties in your life to gain understanding of how the past is affecting you in the present and explore the possibility of change.
