My Approach

My approach is to offer a dedicated time and space for bringing awareness to the reality of your life. Together we explore what is coming up, in supportive and curious ways that work for you. Therapy can often lead to profound personal transformation and development. I sincerely welcome you to have an initial meeting in order to work out if we are suited to working together as finding a therapist who you feel a connection to is essential.

About Me

I offer in person psychotherapy in Haywards Heath, Sussex and online. I practice relational, mindfulness based therapy. I have experience supporting an endless variety of human experiences including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, neglect, abuse, living with loneliness, shame, fear, anger, confusion, illness and bereavement. I have experience working and living with neurodivergence. I have experience working with spiritual and existential inquiry. I am interested in working deeply with clients over a period of time.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have a lot of experience supporting people with neurodivergent experience in their own lives or in the lives of people close to them. I'm committed to helping you to understand and navigate your unique life landscape. I'm open to listening and learning from you and offering my reflections and insights.
Anxiety can be so debilitating and impact heavily on life. Many people have lived with anxiety for so long that they can't remember what it's like without these feelings, others experience intense periods of anxiety. It really helps to gain more understanding of the sources and manifestations of anxiety through your body, mind and being. Giving attention to how it is for you can result in an arising of more space and freedom in your life.
If you are living with illness or disability or living with someone with these challenges it can be incredibly helpful to receive support with this. I am curious about how it is for you in your unique experience and I offer gentle listening, deep understanding of the complexities of illness, and practical engagement.
It can be so helpful to understand how you relate to yourself in your inner world and to start to get curious about why it is this way. It can also be extremely helpful to explore how this can impact the relationships that you have with others in your life today. Our relational experiences started in our earliest moments of life and shape our lives today in so many ways.
I am experienced in working with trauma. It can be so important to build your understanding of how your experiences may be impacting your life now. Trauma is experienced in a myriad of ways and without us realising, it can influence our relationship with ourselves and others and our ability to be in the world in the way that we long to be.
