Whatever brings you to therapy, I aim to offer a thoughtful, confidential and non-judgemental space in which we can begin to understand your experiences together. My approach is informed by psychodynamic thinking, with an interest in the unconscious feelings and past experiences that may underpin the ways we think, feel and behave. By exploring recurring patterns in your life, we can begin to understand why certain difficulties or ways of responding continue to repeat.
By bringing greater awareness to such patterns, therapy can create the possibility of meaningful and long-lasting change.
As a qualified psychotherapist, I work with adults facing a range of emotional and relational difficulties, including anxiety, depression, challenges in forming or sustaining fulfilling relationships, life transitions, questions around sexuality, bereavement, loneliness, and feelings of being stuck, disconnected or adrift.
