My Approach

I believe that a good psychotherapeutic relationship is based on both parties being open to share and learn together. My approach to the work is tailored to client preferences,
This can be short term work looking at focussed solutions to specific problems, longer term exploratory work to assist in helping with general well being.Or any holistic approach combining elements of both to suit the client.

I undertook 10 years of 4x weekly Jungian dream analysis, to enable more in depth understanding of healing processes.

I have experience in working overseas with psychedlic assisted psychotherapy.

About Me

I practise as a psychodynamic psychotherapist , trained in understanding how the unconscious and past experiences affect or influence our current behaviours and thinking.
Ihave professional experience in dealing with sexual abuse, addiction, childhood trauma, executive stress, burnout, anxiety, depression ,grief and general well being.I am also informed in my work by my previous career in business. Running and owning small businesses in various countries. Working as an adviser to support high net worth individuals with their work and personal life challenges.

I work with

  • Companies
  • Individuals
  • Private healthcare referrals

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I am experienced in working with physical and mental abuse, particularly as experienced in childhood.
I have worked with a range of different addictions, oftentimes exploring the individuals challenging life experience, as much as the specifics and details in the type of the addiction.
Anxiety can be experienced in a variety of forms , but oftentimes need to be explored within a safe space with a conscious effort for kindness of ourselves.
Bereavement or loss may not always appear consciously to us, but can still be present. It can be both debilitating and also an exploration opportunity on the path to greater well being.
Dreams and nightmares affected by trauma can be so debilitating , but can also offer up opportunities through therapy to dilute the intensity of reliving experiences.
