My Approach

I believe real change happens in relationship — when you feel truly seen, heard, and safe enough to explore the parts of yourself that have been hidden or hurting.
My approach is integrative and deeply collaborative. I draw on psychodynamic and relational understanding to gently explore how your past experiences and relationship patterns may be shaping your present. At the same time, I bring practical, effective tools from CBT-informed work and am accredited in EMDR (to help process trauma and distressing memories) and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) (to understand and shift unhelpful relationship patterns).
I work at your pace, with warmth, curiosity and respect. Some sessions may feel more exploratory and reflective, while others may focus on building practical skills or processing specific memories. Throughout, I hold a steady, compassionate space where you can begin to understand yourself more deeply, release what no longer serves you, and build a kinder, stronger relationship with yourself and others.
You don’t have to have it all figured out before we start. I’m here to meet you exactly where you are.

About Me

I know how heavy it can feel when you’ve been carrying things alone for too long. Whether it’s anxiety that won’t quieten, the weight of past experiences, difficult relationships, or a quiet sense that something just isn’t quite right, you don’t have to keep figuring it out on your own.
I’m an integrative psychotherapist and HCPC-registered Counselling Psychologist with over 10 years’ experience helping people make sense of what they’re going through. I offer a warm, compassionate and non-judgemental space where you can finally exhale and be fully yourself. I’m trained and accredited in both EMDR and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), and I bring a thoughtful, evidence-based approach that honours your unique story and pace.
My aim is simple: to help you feel understood, supported, and gently guided toward the changes you’re longing for. If you’re ready to explore what’s been holding you back and move toward a lighter, more connected way of living, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I have a particular interest in supporting people who have experienced abuse. Whether it was emotional, physical, sexual, or childhood abuse, I understand how deeply these experiences can affect your sense of safety, self-worth, and ability to trust in relationships. My integrative approach draws on relational and psychodynamic understanding to gently explore the impact of what happened, while also using practical, evidence-based tools when helpful. I am accredited in both EMDR (to help process distressing memories) and Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT), and I always work collaboratively and at your pace. My aim is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can begin to heal, make sense of your experiences, and move toward greater freedom, self-compassion, and healthier connections.
I have a particular interest in working with anxiety. I understand how exhausting and overwhelming it can feel when worry, fear, or a constant sense of unease takes over your daily life. My integrative approach helps you gently explore the roots of your anxiety while also developing practical ways to manage it in the present. Drawing on relational, psychodynamic and CBT-informed ideas, I create a calm, supportive space where we can understand what your anxiety is trying to communicate and help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control. Whether your anxiety shows up as racing thoughts, physical tension, social fears, or health worries, I work at your pace with compassion and care.
I have a particular interest in supporting people experiencing depression. I understand how heavy and isolating it can feel when everything seems flat, hopeless, or too much effort. My integrative approach gently explores the underlying patterns and experiences that may be contributing to low mood, while also offering practical support to help you reconnect with yourself and life. Drawing on relational, psychodynamic and CBT-informed ideas, I create a compassionate, non-judgemental space where we can make sense of what you’re going through and begin to find small, meaningful steps toward feeling more alive and connected again. Whether your depression feels long-standing or has come on more recently, I work at your pace with care and hope.
I have a particular interest in working with family and relationship dynamics. I understand how early family experiences and patterns can continue to shape the way we see ourselves and relate to others, often in ways that no longer serve us. My integrative approach gently explores these family influences while also helping you develop new, healthier ways of connecting with yourself and the people in your life. Drawing on relational and psychodynamic understanding, I create a safe and compassionate space where we can make sense of difficult family patterns, improve communication, set boundaries, and build more fulfilling relationships — both within your family and beyond.
I have a deep interest in working with trauma. I am accredited in EMDR, and I feel privileged to support people in gently processing distressing memories and experiences that may still be affecting how they feel about themselves and the world around them. I believe that trauma doesn’t have to define your future. With compassion, safety, and the right therapeutic support, it is possible to heal, reclaim a sense of peace, and move forward with greater freedom and self-understanding.
