My Approach
As a Systemic and Family Psychotherapist, I believe that our difficulties rarely exist in isolation. They are often shaped by our relationships, our histories and the wider contexts in which we live. Rather than asking "What is wrong with you?", systemic therapy asks, "What has happened?" and "What patterns might be keeping these difficulties going?"
My approach is collaborative, curious and compassionate. I don't see myself as someone who has the answers; instead, I work alongside people to help them understand themselves, one another and the challenges they are facing. Together we explore patterns in relationships, communication and behaviour, while recognising and building on the strengths and resources that already exist.
Although my practice is informed by systemic psychotherapy, I work flexibly with each person, couple or family, recognising that every situation is unique. Whether we are exploring longstanding relationship patterns, navigating a period of change, or trying to make sense of something that feels overwhelming, my hope is that therapy creates space for reflection and meaningful change.
About Me
I am a UKCP registered Systemic and Family Psychotherapist, working with individuals, couples and families who are experiencing relationship difficulties, life transitions, or situations that have left them feeling stuck, overwhelmed or disconnected.
Before qualifying as a psychotherapist, I spent many years working with children, young people and families within Children's Services. This experience continues to shape my understanding of how our relationships, life experiences and wider circumstances influence our emotional wellbeing. I have worked alongside people facing a wide range of challenges, including family conflict, trauma, neurodiversity, parenting difficulties and significant life changes.
