To help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself and others and to identify and work towards things that you want to change, I offer a safe and confidential space for you to explore the issues you are struggling with. My approach is integrative which means I draw on various therapeutic models and techniques relevant to my clients' needs. I will work with you collaboratively and sensitively on issues that have been triggered by recent events or issues that are long-standing.
I work with clients presenting with a range of psychological and mental health difficulties, including depression, anxiety, relationship problems and bereavement, and also issues related to chronic physical health problems. I trained and qualified as a psychotherapist and psychotherapeutic counsellor at The Northern Guild - Psychotherapy & Counselling in Newcastle, UK. I'm a registered member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and the UKCP Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy College (HIPC).
My clinical work with adults (18+) over the past 9 years includes the provision of long-term and short-term therapy in primary care, bereavement counselling services and in private practice. I offer therapy sessions face-to-face, and online.
I receive regular clinical supervision from a UKCP-registered psychotherapist and I am committed to my continuous professional development and guided by the ethical frameworks for good practice set out by the UKCP.

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
