My Approach

No two people are the same, so I believe therapy should never be a “one size fits all” experience.

The relationship between therapist and client is at the heart of successful therapy. I provide a safe, accepting and confidential environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

Together we may explore how past experiences influence the present, identify unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour, strengthen emotional resilience and develop practical strategies for managing life’s challenges.

My integrative approach allows me to draw from several therapeutic models, including Person-Centred Therapy, CBT and psychodynamic thinking, depending on what best suits your needs and goals.

Whether you are looking for short-term support around a specific issue or longer-term therapy for deeper emotional work, we will work collaboratively to find the approach that feels right for you.

About Me

I have spent many years supporting adults, young people and couples through some of life’s most challenging experiences. Whether you are struggling with anxiety, trauma, low mood, relationship difficulties, grief, low self-esteem or simply feeling overwhelmed, I offer a warm, supportive and confidential space where you can feel heard without judgement.

As an accredited UKCP Integrative Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I tailor therapy to the individual rather than expecting everyone to fit one approach. Drawing on psychodynamic therapy, person-centred counselling, CBT and other evidence-based approaches, we work together to understand not only what is happening now, but also the experiences that may have shaped the way you think, feel and relate to others.

Alongside my private practice, I have extensive experience working within the NHS, supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, trauma and emotional difficulties.

Clients often tell me they value my calm, compassionate approach and that they quickly feel comfortable talking with me. My aim is to help you gain greater understanding of yourself, develop healthier coping strategies and move towards a happier and more fulfilling life.

I offer therapy from my private practice near Norwich as well as online across the UK.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Anxiety & Panic Supporting adults and young people experiencing anxiety, panic attacks, health anxiety, excessive worry and stress, helping them regain confidence and control over their lives.
Helping couples improve communication, rebuild trust, resolve conflict and strengthen emotional connection in a supportive, impartial environment.
As conversations around menopause and perimenopause become more common, I've noticed this important topic being addressed more frequently in my clinics. I am dedicated to supporting clients who are navigating this stage of life, which has often been hidden away in plain sight for far too long.
Supporting clients living with obsessive thoughts, compulsions and overwhelming anxiety, using evidence-based therapeutic approaches to reduce distress and improve daily life.
Trauma & PTSD Working sensitively with clients who have experienced childhood trauma, abuse, relationship trauma or distressing life events, helping them process difficult experiences safely and at their own pace
