My Approach

I work integratively, drawing primarily on Transactional Analysis, alongside psychodynamic and relational approaches. This allows us to explore both present-day difficulties and their roots in earlier experiences, while remaining focused on the client’s goals for therapy.

At the heart of my work is a belief that understanding how we learned to adapt, cope or protect ourselves can be deeply freeing. Together, we look at patterns of thinking, feeling and relating, developing awareness and choice where previously there may have felt like none.

I aim to create a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, boundaried and non-judgemental, while also being active and engaged. Therapy with me is a shared process — reflective, curious and responsive to each client’s individual needs.

About Me

I am a UKCP-registered Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor, working with adults in private practice in London and online. I offer a thoughtful, relational and goal-oriented approach to therapy, supporting clients to understand themselves more deeply and to make meaningful, lasting change.

Clients often come to me when they feel stuck in repeating patterns, overwhelmed by anxiety or low mood, navigating loss or transition, or struggling with behaviours that no longer serve them. My work is grounded, compassionate and collaborative, offering both emotional depth and practical clarity.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

I work with anxiety by helping clients understand both its immediate triggers and the underlying patterns that sustain it. Using an integrative approach, we explore anxiety as a learned response while developing greater emotional regulation, insight and choice. This work supports a reduction in anxiety over time and helps clients feel more grounded, confident and resilient.
I offer a safe, compassionate space to explore loss in all its complexity, including grief that may feel overwhelming, delayed or difficult to express. Together, we attend to both the emotional impact of the loss and its wider effects on identity, relationships and meaning. This work supports clients to process grief at their own pace while finding ways to live alongside loss with greater stability and self-compassion.
I help clients understand the emotional, relational and psychological patterns that contribute to low mood, withdrawal or loss of meaning. Using an integrative approach, we explore how depression may have developed as a response to earlier experiences or prolonged stress, while gently supporting reconnection with feeling, agency and hope. This work aims to reduce the grip of depression and support a more engaged and fulfilling way of living.
I work with eating disorders by exploring the emotional and relational meanings behind disordered eating, rather than focusing solely on symptoms or behaviours. Using an integrative approach, we look at how food and control may have become ways of managing difficult feelings, identity or relationships. Therapy supports greater emotional awareness, self-compassion and the development of safer, more sustainable ways of coping.
I work with stress by helping clients understand how ongoing pressure, responsibility or high expectations impact both emotional wellbeing and the nervous system. Using an integrative approach, we explore patterns of over-functioning, self-criticism or burnout, while developing greater awareness, boundaries and regulation. This work supports a move towards balance, resilience and a more sustainable way of living.
