I am an existential psychotherapist, informed also by the psychodynamic approach, and by varying branches of philosophy.
My approach is exploratory and non-prescriptive where I work to understand you and support you to grow your own self-understanding. I provide a unique space in your life - one that is all yours - where you can bring the unsayable and discover yourself. When we better understand ourselves, we are freer to make choices more aligned with who we are and take responsibility for our lives.
I am driven by a belief that we are all capable of change, so my approach is rooted in hope. From this foundation, together we can visit the deepest and most difficult parts of your life, or simply the 'everyday', with a view to finding greater freedom and living better.
I'm curious about all human experience and believe everyone deserves to be heard. I work with all people - of all ages, backgrounds, races, gender identities and sexual orientations. My principle experience is with young people (18 - 35, of all genders), women (of varying ages, up to 70), people from refugee and migrant backgrounds and LGBTQ+ people.
I work with relationship issues of all kinds, trauma, anger, anxiety, abuse, identity, panic, isolation, confusion, self-esteem, trappedness, discrimination, hopelessness, cultural issues, depression and loss.
