My Approach

I work with people on their perspectives of the issues, and to understand the impact and how to share these things. My approach is to work at a pace and depth that is agreed together, and to review this. I aim to be clear and deal with people kindly and respectfully. I focus on ways to help people share openly and communicate what is important and how this impacts. My approach is based on the stories we tell about ourselves and finding solutions. people often meet me who are in conflict or anxious, feeling very low about themselves or trying to make sense of things that have happened.

About Me

I am a qualified family therapist with NHS and voluntary organisation experience of working with children and young people and their carers as well as couples My values are to be respectful and inclusive and to listen. Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Where people find that they can’t talk about what they want to or feel that they are stuck in a loop with arguments, avoidance or upset. I will offer ways to look at these patterns with balance and staying neutral.
I work online only and have extensive experience of this.
I am interested in how traumatic experiences can affect relationships and show up in different ways, I have trained in trauma focussed yoga, which could help to release stress held in the body.
