I offer a safe, supportive space to work on your goals for therapy, where therapy is a collaborative process where we work together.
This might involve exploring unresolved painful issues, recovering from a trauma, identity struggles, or a current life crisis. Sometimes we might work together to develop strengths or solutions in a more structured way, depending on your needs. Although my main approach is
psychodynamic and relational, I am familiar with different models of therapy which I integrate in collaboration with clients. This might include
ideas from CBT, solution focused therapy, imagery, mindfulness, and narrative therapy.
I offer both short-term and long-term psychotherapy with adults. I work using an Attachment-based relational model, although I integrate other approaches such as mindfulness and imagery when appropriate. I have experience with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, loss, identity issues, self-esteem, parent /child relationships, stress of adolescence, conflict/growth in the family life cycle, retirement and
moving on. I also offer supervision .
I have worked as a therapist in different mental health settings for some years, including over twenty five years in CAMHS, working
therapeutically with children, adolescents and families.
My trainings include UKCP Registered Attachment- based Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling,
BA (Hons) Social Work, Certificate in Solution Focused Practice, CQSW, DASS, Certificate in Education, Qualified Practice Teacher in Social Work.
