As a family therapist, I create a confidential space that encourages curiosity, creativity, collaboration, choice, and freedom. Together, we explore personal challenges, relationship patterns, and communication styles, while considering the wider contexts that may have shaped them. Through this process, new perspectives and possibilities can emerge.
I am committed to anti discriminatory and anti oppressive practice. I work alongside you to challenge and resist discrimination or oppression related to race, gender, class, sexuality, age, religion, disability, or appearance.
My name is Beverley, and I am a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist and Social Worker with over 16 years of experience in NHS mental health services. I support individuals, couples, and families who are navigating personal, relational, or life cycle challenges. My aim is to offer a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, listened to, and understood.
Family therapy has allowed me to witness profound moments of hope, healing, and change — experiences that continue to shape my commitment to this work.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
