I understand that deciding to seek therapy can be a big decision, and reaching out for help can feel like a big step. You may be experiencing traumatic, worrying or difficult feelings, emotions and thoughts and may know that there is a specific issue or experience you want to address, or you may just feel that something isn’t right, and life could feel better.
I believe that whatever your reason for coming to therapy, it is the relationship between client and therapist that is most important in bringing about change. Through providing a safe, supportive, non-judgemental and confidential space we can work collaboratively to explore whatever is happening for you, at your own pace. Where trust can be built, in a space where you can feel seen and heard.
We can look at how past experiences and relationships may be impacting present difficulties. Over time, being able to understand and identify what is causing suffering can help ease distressing feelings and improve the quality of life. Being able to develop greater awareness and understanding can help bring about improved ways of relating to others, as well as a better understanding of yourself.
