My Approach

I hold an MA in Management & Social Communication (Psychology in Management) from the Jagiellonian University, Krakow, and a five-year MSc in Gestalt Psychotherapy from the Metanoia Institute, London. I’ve been practising in private and charitable settings in Oxford since 2019, and I have experience working with the NHS Foundation Trust team in both men’s and women’s psychiatric wards at the Warneford Hospital, Oxford. My previous career included significant work in the corporate sector, giving me a grounded understanding of the pressures and expectations many clients bring into therapy.

Having lived and worked across cultures (relocating to Oxford in 2013), I value awareness of social and cultural context and believe strongly in the human capacity for growth through connection, belonging and healthy relationships.

About Me

Hello — I’m Beata, and I’m glad you’re here.

I provide face-to-face and online individual counselling and psychotherapy for adults, working in both English and Polish. I welcome clients seeking either short-term support or longer-term therapeutic work.

My aim is to create a warm, supportive and non-judgmental space in which you can explore what’s not working in your life, make sense of what you’re experiencing and find a way forward. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed by anger or anxiety, challenged by life-transitions, or simply longing for a deeper sense of connection and meaning, we’ll work together to uncover new possibilities.

I believe that each of us has the capacity to live a fulfilling life — even when we’ve lost sight of what that might look like. Change becomes possible when you increase your awareness of your self, your patterns and your choices. My role is to hold a space for you where you can feel seen and heard, and also be invited to experiment, grow and shift. At times this means supporting; at times it means gently challenging. I draw from Gestalt psychotherapy and I may use movement or creative exploration to help you clarify and decide what steps you want to take.
