I am drawn to the Gestalt approach for its deeply holistic and relational stance. In the sessions, I encourage my clients to pay attention to their embodied experience and not only their cognitive processes. I offer the possibility of experimenting with what our five senses are informing us of. I invite us to stop, reflect and feel what is happening in the here and now.
As a compassionate and dedicated psychotherapist, I aim to provide a safe and supportive space in which an authentic dialogue and relationship can develop. I strive to remain curious, respectful and to have a non-judgmental approach to my clients' unique experience of being in the world. I can offer my expertise and competencies to support with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, loss, addiction, trauma, by working within a holistic frame which attends to both body and mind.
I work with individuals as well as couples.
I work with clients from all walks of life and aim to support them to identify their needs and how to best meet them by deepening self-awareness and an understanding of what lead us to develop certain relational templates and acquire set responses to our environment.
I feel honoured to be part of my clients' journey. I appreciate that starting or re-engaging with therapy can feel a little overwhelming and unsettling and I am happy to answer any questions you may have. I am available to work either in person in Brighton or/and remotely.
I can work in English as well as Italian.
