My Approach

My work is grounded primarily in the British psychoanalytic tradition. Psychodynamic psychotherapy offers time and space to explore not only an immediate difficulty, but also the experiences, relationships and emotional patterns that may lie beneath it.

In individual psychotherapy, we think together about what is happening in your life and how you respond to it. This may involve noticing recurring relationship patterns, understanding strong or difficult feelings, and exploring how earlier experiences continue to influence present expectations. The aim is not to impose ready-made explanations, but to develop a fuller understanding of yourself from which different choices may gradually become possible.

In couples psychotherapy, I help both partners look beyond the immediate argument to consider the emotional pattern unfolding between them. We may explore how each person manages closeness, dependence, difference, conflict and vulnerability, and how attempts to protect the relationship can sometimes contribute to distance or misunderstanding.

Online psychotherapy can provide a consistent therapeutic setting when work, travel, relocation or family responsibilities make attending in person difficult. It can be particularly valuable for people living abroad or between cultures, and for couples who need to join from different locations.

Our work is centred on the weekly session, but reflection does not necessarily stop when the session ends. Where appropriate, I may offer carefully selected clinical reflections, structured questions or interactive worksheets to help you notice thoughts, feelings and relationship patterns between appointments. These resources complement the therapy rather than replacing the shared work of the sessions.

I offer a complimentary 15-minute introductory video call so that we can briefly discuss what brings you to therapy and consider whether my approach may be suitable. Private-practice appointments are available Monday to Friday from 12 noon, with 7pm as the final appointment.

About Me

I offer online individual and couples psychotherapy for people experiencing relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm or recurring patterns that have become difficult to change.

I work with adults who may be struggling with attachment and separation, identity, self-worth, life transitions or a sense of feeling stuck. I also have particular experience of working with expatriates and international professionals, for whom questions of belonging, cultural difference and living between countries or languages may carry considerable emotional meaning.

As a couples psychotherapist, I help partners explore recurring conflicts, emotional distance, difficulties with trust and communication, and the patterns that can leave both people feeling misunderstood or disconnected.

I am a UKCP-accredited psychodynamic psychotherapist and an accredited member of the British Psychoanalytic Council and the European Association for Psychotherapy. I am also a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. My PGDip and MA were awarded by Roehampton University following my clinical training at WPF Therapy in London.

Sessions are conducted online in English, French or Greek.

Special Interests

Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.

Anxiety may appear as persistent worry, tension, overthinking, panic or a need to remain in control. Alongside finding ways to manage its immediate impact, psychotherapy can help us explore the relationships, experiences and emotional conflicts that may contribute to it.
I have particular experience of working with expatriates and people living between countries, cultures or languages. Psychotherapy can provide space to explore belonging, displacement, adaptation, cultural identity and the emotional effects of building a life away from familiar people and places.
I work with people who feel uncertain about who they are or find that an established sense of self no longer fits. This may arise during midlife, relationship changes, parenthood, separation, relocation, retirement or other transitions that bring questions of identity and direction to the surface.
I work with individuals and couples who find themselves caught in recurring conflict, emotional distance or patterns of misunderstanding. Therapy can help us explore what happens beneath these difficulties, including how each person experiences closeness, dependence, trust, difference and vulnerability.
