As a counselling psychologist working from an existential perspective, I aim to support you understand your relationship patterns and how these impact your sense of self, influence your relationships and affect your wellbeing, whether you need support for a short period or over a longer term.
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space where you are met with warmth, respect, care, and honesty, and where you can explore who you are, reflect on the challenges you face, consider change, and get new perspectives through dialogue, mutual trust and understanding.
My role is to be beside you to explore what feels hard to face alone: your lived experiences, values, family background, and your overall sense of meaning. Together, we will also focus on your relationships with yourself, others, and the world.
The strength and depth of our therapeutic relationship will create the foundation for genuine and lasting change.
I work with clients from a wide range of social, cultural, and religious backgrounds, with diverse life experiences and identities, and from many different countries across the world.
I'm based in Wallingford, serving Didcot, Abingdon, Oxford and surrounding areas as well as online clients. Our first session will cover an initial assessment, where we will explore your expectations and needs and discuss any questions you may have about the way I work with clients. To help you decide if we’re a good fit, I offer a free 15-minute introductory online call.
This is an opportunity for us to see how we will work together and if I am the right therapist for you. After this, we can commit to time-limited sessions, if you have a specific issue you want to work on, or longer open-ended work if appropriate.
I can also offer a free 15-minute call to help you decide if we are right for each other. Please do get in touch and ask any questions you may have.
My background is in philosophy, linguistics & psychology. I have a MA in Linguistics, a MSc in Psychology, a PGDip in Psychotherapy and a Doctorate in Psychology. I trained as a Clinical Psychologist in France and as a Counselling Psychologist in the UK.
I offer therapy and supervision in both English and French. Through my lived experience, and my research, I am a specialist of intellectual giftedness, and the issues attached to it, and I wrote my doctoral thesis on the life experience of intellectually gifted women tested as adults.
I was lucky to work in a psychiatric day unit for children and adolescents, and with depressed mothers and their babies. I wrote my BSc on the way depressed mothers carry their babies.
I am registered in the UK (BPS, BACP, UKCP) as well as in France (ADELI). I work with individuals, couples and families as well as for a charity for young people and parents. I practice in Wallingford and online. I specialise in existential psychotherapy but I also work with other modalities. I also offer clinical supervision to psychologists, psychotherapists, counsellors as well as trainees.
