Integrative; systemic; collaborative
I am a psychotherapist with a Master's degree in Systemic Psychotherapy, a diploma in Person-Centred Counselling and a Master's degree in Applied Linguistics. I have been working as a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist in Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) for the past 10 years. I was a part-time lecturer in systemic therapy at the University of Exeter for a year and I have previous careers in counselling (Relate, schools, including special schools, and private practice) and in teaching French and Spanish as foreign languages in universities and language centres in England and Mexico.
I have worked with people with a diagnosis of ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) for the past 29 years, providing neurodevelopmental assessments and various therapies.
I work mainly in English and French, and can incorporate some Spanish.
I am passionate about what it means to be human. I also love dogs, nature and dancing.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
