My work is deeply holistic, blending person-centred psychology and neuroscience with Jungian and psychodynamic psychotherapy. We won’t just look at surface symptoms; we look at the "whole" you. In our sessions, I aim to work in partnership with you to:
• understand yourself so that you’re not alone and don’t have to hide anymore,
• understand your internal confusion and why it’s there,
• rebuild parts of your internal scaffolding that are shaky and can crumble under pressure,
• create a new relationship where all of you can feel held and seen even the anger and the shame, and
• where you can mourn what you’ve lost or never had.
I believe therapy can meaningfully transform how we feel about ourselves and our lives. As Jung suggested, the aim of therapy is not to fix our problems, but to outgrow them.
If you’ve been feeling disconnected or stuck in unhelpful patterns you don’t quite understand, I’m here to help you find your way back to your centre of gravity. I work with a wide range of issues, and clients often seek me out when they want to work deeply on challenging family dynamics, difficult partner relationships, or work-related issues such as burnout.
I come from a working-class, North East family with a legacy of intergenerational trauma and anxiety. Through my own journey of healing, I chose to leave an international corporate career and retrain to become the therapist I once needed. This lived experience, combined with my clinical training, allows me to meet you with genuine empathy and professional depth.
I work in person in Teddington TW11 and remotely on zoom for clients in other parts of the UK or who travel.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
