I’m a fully qualified, integrative psychotherapist, which means that I work in a creative way to help you or your children find solutions to problems, reach your potential and lead a happier and more fulfilling life.
For the last 10 years, I’ve worked with children and young adults, in their homes, schools or at my private practice.
I provide counselling in a way that encourages independence but within an environment that is safe, confidential and fully adheres to child protection and health and safety regulations.
I also have experience of working with families who are or have been affected by issues such as domestic violence, addiction or divorce.
I offer play and creative arts therapy to children. My integrative training embraces all forms of expressions using large selection of art materials, puppets, sand tray, clay, miniature figures and animals. Some young adults prefer to just talk whilst others express themselves through sound, music, movement and using art materials.
My areas of specialism include transition work, depression, school refusal, anxiety, attachment issues, emotional and behavioural issues, enuresis, self-harm, abuse, eating disorders, relationship difficulties, gender, addiction, obsessions, anger, domestic violence, trauma and psycho-somatisation and cultural issues.
I have additional trainings in Mindfulness, Developmentally Informed Assessments and Brief Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy. Family Work [AFT Accredited].
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
