About Me

My name is Ann-Louise McCarthy and I am a Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychotherapist and Clinical Supervisor.

I trained at the University of Kent where I earned an MSc and a Master of Clinical Science.
My Psychoanalytic Supervision training was gained with the Guild of Psychotherapists.

I offer sessions in private practice in Whitstable, Kent which is within easy reach of Herne Bay, Faversham, Swale, Canterbury, Medway and Thanet.

I am committed to providing professional Psychoanalytic and Psychodynamic Psychotherapy in a safe, confidential and non-judgmental environment.

I work with individuals and with couples on an open-ended basis or for an agreed time period, with the aim of helping clients to explore life experiences, gain insight and greater understanding of oneself, or each other, and to live life more fully.
