I offer Internal Family Systems informed therapy and integrate psychodynamic, attachment, and Polyvagal theories, neurobiology, trauma theories, expressive arts therapies and mindfulness to meet your needs as they evolve in therapy.
I offer trauma informed Integrative Psychotherapy in London Bridge. I aim to make therapy as simple, transparent and effective as possible. I work with warmth and sensitivity, so you are seen and heard on a deep level. I am not afraid of feeling fear or sadness or being stuck in a dark place. I cannot ‘fix’ you, and I won’t know all the answers to your questions, but my love of my work, over 10 years of experience, two masters degrees in psychotherapy and my investment in helping my clients, helps me to ask some pretty useful questions. I help clients to increase resilience and to reduce symptoms and distress. I offer a free initial consultation, because I believe therapy needs to feel like the right fit, and you won't really get a sense of that until you meet me.
I have worked for the NHS, in private clinics and the third sector. I have experience in community mental health, adult psychiatry, palliative care and working with children in schools. I have run psychotherapy groups as well as working with individuals in various settings.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
