Therapy welcomes all the parts of ourselves and whatever needs attending to - both the sorrows and the joys.
You may be experiencing a crisis, but you also don’t need to be, to benefit from therapy. Whether you have experienced a shocking loss, feel like your world has turned upside down, or simply feel “stuck”, taking dedicated time each week to explore the ups and downs of life is both healing and practical.
Wherever you may find yourself, I am here to support you.
By using an integrative style, I am able to draw upon a range of methods including Jungian, developmental, transpersonal therapy, as well as the latest learnings from neuroscience. We might look to the past to understand the roots of what you are facing. We may work with what is happening in the here-and-now. The key point is to find what works for you.
This tailored approach also means that, as well as talking therapy, I can offer opportunities to work creatively with dreams, drawing and other exercises which work with the imagination.
I specialise in supporting people through grief and loss — whether following a bereavement, the end of a relationship, changes in health, identity or other major life transitions. Grief can reshape our inner world, and I offer a steady, compassionate space to help you move through this process at your own pace.
Alongside this, I also support clients navigating life transitions, relationship or work-related challenges, periods of uncertainty, or a sense of feeling stuck. Whatever brings you to therapy, we can explore it together in a way that is meaningful and manageable for you.
Each person is unique and therefore I will tailor my approach to meet your individual needs.
People come to me for many different reasons. Some are navigating life transitions such as changes in career, parenthood, retirement or relationship breakdown. Others want support with work-related stress, burnout, low mood, identity questions, or a sense that life has lost direction. Some people are looking for a space to think clearly about decisions or patterns that keep repeating.
As a fully qualified Integrative Transpersonal Psychotherapeutic Counsellor, I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and a registered member of UKCP. I work within their ethical framework to ensure best practice and I also invest in regular supervision and continued professional development (CPD).
I completed my training at a small but highly regarded centre in North London called Re-Vision, where the emphasis is on counselling and psychotherapy with a “soulful” perspective. This simply means I pay attention not only to symptoms but also to what gives your life meaning, direction and resilience. Some people value this deeper exploration; others prefer a more grounded, here-and-now focus. We can shape the work in the way that best suits you.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
