My approach is integrative, rooted in Transactional Analysis, and guided by my belief that everybody is fundamentally OK, and that relationships both shape and re-shape who we are. I believe the power of therapy lies in the relationship we build together, as two equals. I view psychotherapy as a dynamic process, created between the two of us. I will be curious and actively involved as a co-detective underpinned by a desire for you to improve your life in the way you want. I might share some theory if it seems helpful and appropriate. In individual therapy, our work is to co-create a safe and trusting space where you can share openly and begin to find new perspectives. In couples therapy, I support partners to explore unhelpful patterns, strengthen communication, and discover new ways of relating. At the heart of my practice is the belief that change and growth become possible through connection.
I offer a warm, confidential, and non-judgmental space where you can bring whatever is on your mind. I believe that while change can feel daunting, it is always possible. Beginning therapy can be a brave and sometimes unsettling step, and my priority is to make the process as supportive, comfortable, and positive as I can.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
