If you are feeling anxious or overwhelmed, directionless, struggle with low self-esteem or self-critical thoughts, I can help. I offer a confidential, non-judgmental space for you to bring whatever difficulty is present in your life right now. My approach is empathic and supportive and my aim is to both help you utilise and develop resources to manage whatever has led you to seek therapy at this time, but also to work with you on understanding any underlying issues that may be getting in the way of you leading a richer, more rewarding life.
As a qualified psychotherapist and EMDR practitioner, I have worked with a wide range of clients for various organisations including the NHS, mental health charities, EAPs (Employee Assistance Programmes) and a specialist bereavement service.
Regardless of what brings you to therapy – anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, work difficulties, issues with food – whatever it is, therapy can provide an opportunity to move beyond patterns and beliefs that get in the way of real change in order to bring about something new and something better.
Like all UKCP registered psychotherapists and psychotherapeutic counsellors I can work with a wide range of issues, but here are some areas in which I have a special interest or additional experience.
