I draw upon both my experience from practice and education and learnings from my research practice to utilise integrated hypnotherapy, counselling and psychotherapy interventions for the benefit of my clients. While I am a definite believer in and practitioner of evidence-based practice, my preference is to use interventions determined by the needs of individual clients rather than adopt a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy.
My clinical psychotherapy and hypnotherapy help people navigate anxiety, stress, emotional distress, relationship difficulties and other challenges affecting mental health and wellbeing. My individualised approach draws on evidence-based therapeutic approaches, selected according to the needs of each client. I have particular clinical interest and experience in anxiety and stress, workplace-related psychological difficulties, medical and surgical anxiety, and the psychological challenges associated with repeated IVF failure through my IVF Assist program. I also consult regarding workplace psychosocial hazards and the management of psychosocial risks, particularly within the construction industry. My practice brings together academic knowledge and research experience, clinical training and many years of practical experience. I believe it is this combination that enables me to provide thoughtful, evidence-informed and individually tailored support to both clients and organisations.
